9.1（满分 10） (out of 10)

Higher theology rating than 72% of “Christmas” songs

Biblical Accuracy

Is it true? Do its claims agree with Scripture?
10.0 / 10

Theological Focus

Toward whom? Where attention, hope and worship finally point
10.0 / 10
Who is the song finally addressed to?
Is the “I” responding to God, or centered on itself?
Where do hope, grounding and salvation come from?
Remove the words about God: what is left?

Theological Clarity

Is it clear who God is, who we are, and how we relate?
10.0 / 10

Theological Richness

Bonus: says clearly who God is and what he has done, with scriptural grounding and depth
+2.1 / 3
Two or more acts of God 「化诅为恩无远弗届」与「救主下降」并列的第二件不同作为：除咒诅、赐恩福。
Echoes a passage 「Joy to the world」明显转述诗篇 98:4「全地都要向耶和华欢乐」。
Echoes two or more passages 「Nor thorns infest the ground」除诗篇 98 外，还化用创世记 3:17-18 荆棘与地受咒诅的经文。
